We have a new chicken coop. Size is 5 X 5 X 10. We live in Texas and its very hot.
We would like to install an air conditioning unit for the coop.
Does anyone have a recommendation as to the make as model that would be good for the coop?

The problem with A/C in a barn or coop is, unless you have good insulation condensation can build up and a mold problem can occur. Make sure the area around the unit stays dry.

I completely disagree.

The complete lack of insulation, and house wrap means the structure so non-airtight that condensation problems will not occur. no mosture = no mold.

The extreme cold of the a/c unit combined with the heat will cause condenstion on surfaces near the source. Like I said, just make sure the area around the unit stays dry.
It also depends on how humid your area is. We have 60%-80% humidity. Condensation is a problem here.
