Accidental bantam ?

There is a bantam barred rock chicken but the ones I got were meant to be standard. She is around half of the size of the other chicks, is this alright ?

Yes they are all the same age , and I bought them at the same time.

I'm guessing it's just a runty chick then. Keep an eye on it, but it should eventually catch up.

I agree, it’s probably a runt. Either not getting enough food, or the genetics make for slow growth. Common occurrence.

Yeah that is the weird thing, she eats, drinks and is just as active as the other chicks , I was just getting worried because she only half the size of the other chicks

Have any of y’all ever had a runt be half of the size of the other chicks, were they okay as adults , this is a first for me?
