Hi! We picked up some chicks 3 weeks ago and one we thought was leghorn has turned out to be a Cornish. She has grown really fast and has a hard time walking. I’ve read a bit about them and wondering if anyone has had success keeping them as pets? We wouldn’t be able to eat her but I also don’t want to prolong her life of misery if that’s the most likely end result?

Rooster, and:
Cornish are meant for eating. They start developing health problems by the time they are 6-8 weeks old. Limps, intestinal problems...I am on the fence. She won't have a fun life, and will probably die pretty young, but you shouldn't have to kill her. :hmm
**I do not mean to come across as a pessimist, and I am sorry if I do. It is a problem of mine to get pessimistic when I am unsure of things.**
