Ace Hardware Chicks

Hello,
We bought a couple.of "California Grey" pullet chicks from Ace. Do these look like CG pullet chicks? Is that barred feathering coming through? Other internet photos of CG chicks are darker colored. What is the hatchery that Ace uses? They look similar to the sapphire gem chick we purchased at Tractor Supply.

I agree that those chicks do not look like California Grays.

Can you post a more recent photo? They're usually easier to identify once they have more feathers.

I do not know which hatchery Ace Hardware gets their chicks from--it might even be different ones at different times. You could call the store and ask.
