sorry, looks like I'm too new to post pics yet. darn. Well, I'll work on changing that so I can get them up.
25 bantam cochins - mixed assortment.

I can sorta figure out the blues, blacks, and red chickies. What are the ones that look like chipmunk stripes?

How were you able to wait for them to be delivered?!?!?! I flew out the door in my nightgown and stood waiting for them to unlock the doors, I couldn't STAND to wait until my mailman came by at 1:30 p.m.! I just had to move the little stinkers into the back laundry room, pew they get dusty and stinky quick! Had to make room for the ones that will be hatching this weekend anyway, hahaha!

wow, even MORE chicks coming your way! Sounds like fun to hatch chickies - well, maybe that will be my spring project, hee hee.
I knew it would be easier for the mail man to come here than deal with parking downtown. So while I waited, anxiously, I put that nervous energy into some organizing and cleaning. I was SO EXCITED when the door bell rang! I was was practically shaking! I opened the box, and all looked well. Then I started running around to fill the water and get feed out.

I've been glued to them, watching them, picking up different ones, till finally the dog reminded me I needed to pay attention to her to her too. We worked out a deal, where I look at chicks while sracthing and petting her. Finally had to leave the house for TP and laundry soap. Only the most basic needs could make me leave today!

What an exciting day!
