Actually looking for Duck advice.

I already have a small homestead but I want to add ducks to it. I can't find any information on ducks doing well in South Texas besides muscovy and I am not interested in them.

I don't see why they couldn't do well in Texas. Mine do fine in 100 F weather. You just need to make sure they have plenty of water and shade to get out of the heat. I would probably avoid the heavy breed ducks, my larger ducks always pant more in the heat.

I live in South Texas and have Jumbo Pekins and they do fine!
