ACV, can you/should you use all the time?

Is it safe to use ACV in water all the time, or should you only use it when there is a problem?

I use it (1 Tablespoon per 1 gallon of water) in their waterer I built so mold doesn't grow in it. They have been drinking this since March and they are beautiful, healthy girls.

If you do a search you will learn that ACV should not be used in high temperatures as it can interfere with the absorption of calcium and other essentials.

When I had first gotten my chickens I had read on this site and a popular poultry keepers Facebook page that Apple cider vinegar with the mother was such a great thing to use. Now I’m seeing evidence online that there is no scientific support for using ACV.

All the scientific study on the benefits of apple cider vinegar was conducted by the AACVPA (American Apple Cider Vinegar Producers' Association) and this is hardly an objective organization. Please post (if you can find any) some scientific evidence about the benefits of said vinegar. Testimonials are not allowable scientific evidence. It must be more concrete evidence than "Because my first wife's personal trainer's half brother said it." Apple Cider Vinegar is good for making some salad dressings but it only produces off flavor and off color pickles.
