I use a clean milk gallon jug to mix ACV in with my chickens' water, and apparently I didn't rinse it thoroughly after the last time I used it. I didn't realize DH, who always makes our morning coffee, also uses one also to fill the carafe in the coffee maker. This morning, he grabbed my "chicken jug" to fill it up. We started to drink our coffee, and wondered if the creamer had gone bad. It tasted horrible! We couldn't figure it out, until I saw the jug sitting on the counter. That was it! He jokingly ranted about me and my chickens, and made a new pot. My chicken jug is now clearly marked.
