I have using ACV in the waterer for several weeks to cut down on the algae accumulation. We are on well water.

The first week I noticed the birds, while out free ranging, had some interesting poos. Almost mist..

I just guesstimated the amount to three gallons of water.

Didn't use it for a week, then cut the amount in half, not much more than 3 tbl spoons. And now their poo is runnier than normal.

    Stopped using it.

    Comments, criticisms [IMG] welcome.

That might all be heat related and not so much about the ACV, sorry but I'm clueless

I've just started using ACV. Also on well water with a 3.5 gal waterer. I think the proper amount to use is 1 tblspn per gallon from what I've read here.
    I haven't noticed anything different.

I assume your using the unfiltered, unpasteurized ACV like Bragg's?
