Addicted

I think I now officially addicted to peafowl. I went to the Kankakee show today and left with a pair of yearling purple white eyed and a three year old black shoulder. Almost bought a trio of yearling peach pied but passed. We now have 5 pairs. We started last July with one older india blue male (who as of today gets to free range, and I am nervous about it) to our current group.

bandbaustin,,did you buy your peacocks from a lady about 150 feet straight south of the expo building,on the west side of that middle lane? She had about 4 very nice males stacked in cages,and 4-5 hens stacked in dog kennel crates,,was she the seller of your birds? I spoke with her,but she did not have any business cards,,and it was raining kinda heavy when I was there,so I passed on getting a trio,,and didn't get her name or any contact info,,,if she was the one yours came from, if you have her information,could you give it to me please?? thanks

French, Yes that is who I bought my birds from. I bought the pair of purple white eyed and the three year old black shoulder male from her. I forgot to get her card though. I know she said that she lives in southern illinois somewhere. I was dissappointed that there were not more vendors there but I figure the rain kept a lot of people away. I was looking for any pheasant people and I could only find one but he didn't have what I was looking for.
