GAH!! its been only a week since i got my first chicks, 10 golden comet and 2 RIR. Not even three days after that i went and got 3 white silkie 2 partridge silkies and 1 black (or blue) silkie. Today i had a couple spare dollars in my pocket, so of course i make a trip to tsc. I came home with 3 leghorn pullets and 3 black australorp(sp?). i think it is easy to say i am addicted to chicks! Oh and might i add, i really appreciate my local TSC. They actually take care of the chicks, considering that somewhere near a quarter of the employees are friends from fairs and 4h or even family, so if i see something wrong i give them hell. But when i walked in, some big burly man who was an employee was playing with them. he was having a giggling fit. I couldn't help but smile.
