Adding 8 week old chicks to 8 adult hens (the smell is killing us)

What about the diaper thing? I think 2 outside ducks would be better than no ducks right? They are so cute and funny
I might introduce them so slowly that I might end up with 2 separate flocks will they become 1 flock someday?

The ducks stuck around the house and followed us everywhere from a distance. They were a lot of fun. If we didn't have predators, I'd like to get more. Especially runner ducks. They ran in a pack.
