Adding a frizzle to the flock

I've been searching craigslist for a rooster, and I've stumbled on a 6-month old frizzle. All of my girls have normal feathers. Have any of you with frizzles found that they're picked at due to the different feathers? Thank you for your input!

We have sizzles, frizzles, silkies, cochins and oegb's all together in our bantam mixed flock and they all get along fine together. The flock consist of both hens and roosters.
