Adding a goose to duck flock? Input please

I'm getting two fawn and white runner ducklings in April and would love to add a female Toulouse Goose to my flock. I currently have 6 ducks all female and two female Leghorns. My plan was to raise the gosling in the brooder with the two runners ducklings so she grows up comfortable with other ducks but I would love input from those with goose and duck experience. I don't want to do anything irresponsible. Thank you all in advance!

If you do get two females, which i think is more suitable for you then getting a gander, make sure to ship them separate from the ducklings. Geese are almost twice the size as ducklings when born and very active, so putting them in a box with any other smaller fowl is a disaster waiting to happen. I once ordered 5 red Junglefowl with 2 female geese and only one Red Junglefowl made it due to the geese crushing them in the box.

Geese can live upwards to 40 yrs at Carolina Waterfowl they have 40 yr old geese. My geese most likely will out live me so they will be going to Carolina waterfowl to live out their remaining lives.

Wow I had no idea they lived that long. I would need to make provisions for them too cuz I don't know how well I could take care of them at 87 years old lol.
