Well I am new to this so hi!!
I recently rescued a chicken from my neighbors because they weren't taking care of them. So we have a coop but she is lonely and try have a sick rooster they don't want and that we will take care of. I just wanted to know if that was a good or bad idea.

THANKS

Hi and welcome to BYC :)
Rescuing them was very kind of you good job.
In what way is the rooster sick? If it is something that easily spreads from one chicken to another I would separate him from the hen if she is still healthy. Then once he's well again introduce them back to one another. I think it was a great idea to take them and give them another chance.
Good luck with your chicken.

He is wheezing stinks and has poo all over his back side. And thank you for your help !(:

I don't usually quarantine new chickens, but I would definitely keep him well away from the rest of the flock until you know what you're dealing with. I'd also keep the other one separate for a few weeks until you're sure she doesn't come down with the same symptoms.
