Adding Apple Cider Vinegar???

Should I add some apple cider vinegar to my chick's water on a monthly basis? Can it be supermarket brand or the kind given to horses? Does anyone else give acv regularly? What is it good for? DIgestion? worms?

Yes alot of people do, I believe it does aid in digestion, there are threads on the subject just getting into it myself...but I believe you shouldn't use in metal.

I use it mainly to keep algae in check in my waterer. I didn't use it much over the winter-just in the warmer months. I use Bragg's organic kind and buy it from GNC or Kroger.

I use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water.

Steer clear of GNC. I stopped by there last week and they wanted $22.85 for a quart. I went straight to Kroger and they had it on sale for $3.99... regularly $5.49. Braggs

Dang. I wonder if they had it mismarked. I bought mine at GNC the first time and it was around $6 for a quart.
