I have a mixed flock mostly LF and a sebright roo, that are all 18 weeks. I am trying to add two eight week old bantam cochins to this group. They, especially the roo, will pick on the babies when they are all outside. Should I wait until they are bigger. I can keep them in separate coops and runs right next to each other if that would help. I just want to make sure they are not going to get hurt. Will it be harder to integrate when they are older?

u can join them together but the roo cant be in there if you know its going to hurt them so let the chicks get bigger before introducing them to the roo but the rest of the flock will be fine
