hey guys. I said a few weeks ago i lost 2 of my haitian poleumed.i'm getting to more later today ( dont worry cmera is already set up for pics )AND I have 3 cute week old chicks that were a WEEK yesterday. OK SO NOW I'M GETTING TWO HAITIAN PLUMEDS THAT ARE ABOUT 6.7 TO 7.2 WEEKS.hOW SHOULD I ADD THEM TO THE FLOCK ?`

I am also interested in the answer. My chick order is due May 20, but someone on Craigslist has some 4 week old EEs that I'd love to buy sinc I didn't order any and want those green eggs!

At 6-7 weeks they are way bigger and with only 3/3 the bullying won't get spread out much. You can try, but I'd stand there and stare at the brooder so you can seperate quickly if (probably when) there is a problem. If your youngsters were 3 weeks old or so it would probably work out, but I think in this case you'll need to wait until the younger group gets some size before putting them together.

Just like the op your chicks are too far apart in age for it to work out well. In your case though you'll probably have very few problems integrating when they are 8 & 12 weeks old because there are so many more chicks in the younger group. Depending on the EE's personalities (mine are sweet) you may even be able to do it a bit earlier, but I wouldn't even try until the younger group is at least 4 weeks old.
