Adding bird netting as an afterthought - gate issue

We have already put up the chicken wire fencing and gate at 1200mm high. Now we are wanting to add bird netting on top of the run and have an issue - how do we fully enclosed the space with the netting while still allowing a walkthrough space at the gate?

Seems like we might need to leave it open at the gate (and enclosed the rest) and im not 100% happy with that because of the risk of either chooks escaping or predator birds rolling in.

Can anyone think of a solution?

Not fully predator proof but this is how I handled it.

The netting elsewhere is ziptied and hooked over the top of the chain link. The part over the gate can be attached to the gate itself with carabiners (not shown here) - undo the carabiners and lift up to get in.

Bow before you enter the chicken run.
Your majesties will undoubtfully appreciate it.
Or…
Make a new door that is high enough to walk through.
Or..
Make it flexible like Rosemarythyme.

Make a walk through frame. Add a separate piece of netting, wider than the door (overlapping). Attach the netting to the current door if you leave the run every time you leave.
I have one run without a proper door too. I attached a bamboo stick at the bottom of the net , pull it up and lay the bamboo stick on top of the frame when I enter the run.
