We have 15 week+ old (hatched Mon 3/5) chicks currently in our brooder and I would love to add some americaunas to our flock. If I pick up a couple 4 day olds (hatched Mon 3/12), would they be ok to just add them to the brooder with the others? Or should I plan on a whole separate setup? If the latter, is there a point at which I can/should introduce them to each other as young'uns?

Thanks!

They should be fine in one brooder. Just watch them close for a short time after you mix them and check on the frequently for the first day. (As if we need a reason...). It is usually fine to mix birds up to 2 week difference in age. Even 3 weeks will often be fine as long as the younger birds are at least 1 week old. Any more than 3 weeks can be a problem. Just my experience.
