Adding ducks with chickens

i didn't know the first two.
I did definitely consider the last one as I would prefer to them free range due to this aspect because chickens and water don't mix.

My husband is more set and my youngest for ducklings more so than I am since I am the one who is home AND cleaning.

The idea of my girls not laying eggs where they should be is the biggest set back for me. I was dead set on getting ducks, now I'm thinking I won't add any.
