Adding hens?

What would be a good breed to add to my flock of Buffs? I have 4 buff hens and one rooster. I only want to add hens

A little of both really. I have some barred rock and production red chicks. Plus I have some BCM eggs in the incubator. I dont have room for all of them with the buffs but would like to put at least one set in with them.

I would add either Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers. We love the different colors they add to my basket! This fall I will be adding more Ameraucanas and a few Black Copper Marans.. I am really excited.

Will you be hatching, getting chicks, or buying pullets? If pullets, make sure you quarantine for at least 30 days to protect your current flock.
