Adding Horizontal Nipples To Heated Bucket?

Well, the gist of the problem (I think) is that there are two walls in a heated bucket. It sealed just fine on the outer wall, but the inner wall did not, so water leaked down between the two walls and then out the bottom. If someone else wants to waste a $30 bucket in future, I might suggest using caulk. Or preferably, spending the $30 on a deicer and using a regular bucket.

Did you use the extenders?
HN's wont seal on a double wall without them.

Yes, I did see that later, but another poster said they wouldn't be necessary, so I figured I'd try without first. Oh well, it won't kill me to get a stock tank deicer. Just ordered one from Amazon. Sad that I ruined my bucket, but at least I don't have a horse that needs it anymore, lol!
