My incubator has 27 eggs in it right now and they are on day 16 and I just bought 12 polish rooster eggs that are ready to go in the incubator should I just wait for the eggs in the incubator to do what they are doing or can I add them? Will the humidity bother the news that I am adding? Will the bator being on lock down and not being able to roll them affect them? or should I just wait the extra week and then add them once this round of eggs is finished in the bator?

Do you have an auto turner? If so then they will still be turning. I just did a staggered hatch and am about to start another. All I did to accommodate the difference in hatch time was take out a few rails on the turner. After 14 days the eggs don't need to be turned anymore so on week two added eggs to turner and put eggs that were in it laying on side on incubator screen. The other thing to manage for is all that added humidity for few days. Prior to day 19 of one hatch I ran the incubator dry, upped humidity for hatching then took all water out after hatch and am currently running dry again. Will be adding more eggs Sunday so again will have eggs that have been in for two weeks off rails and new eggs in rails of auto turner. May need to take out another rail to accommodate all the eggs hatching next week.
