adding new chicks?

@Wyorp Rock I did a test meeting between my older chicks and one of the new chicks to see how they react and i think it will be an easy task with them. the older 2 first looked at the baby, lightly rubbed their beak on her like they was saying hello, then walked away and did their own thing. this is a super good sign? i believe they going to get along great! they are not minding each other being there. :D

more info, my dominate chick protected the baby! my bantam fluffed her feathers and my EE jumped on her and pecked her neck like she was telling her to chill out LOL. i put the baby back in the brooder as its colder in my apartment where my older chicks roam.

Now i'm wondering if my EE is a male. i was told males will protect baby chicks.
the grey bird is supposed to be a EE is what feed store said.
the yellow is my bantam and the 3 little chickies are a black sexlink, a white orpington and a brown araucana! i don't know how to sex them so i have no clue.

the grey chick is my fave. shes so cuddly and not scared of anything. the bantam seems scared of the smallest things like a strange noise or filling their water. the grey chick always runs up to me like ooo what ya got for me today? its so cute. I don't get it because i held them both the same amount.
the bantam just seems like it is scared of everything lol
