adding new chicks

I have three bantams and I am thinking of adding more chickens...of coarse.

I am thinking about getting a few more standard breed chicks. Is it ok to mix standards and bantams. I am new to the pet chicken world and I didn't know if the standards will beat up the little bantams. After I raise the chicks and slowly introduce them will they have issues deciding who the leader of the pack is?

I keep bantams and standards together, and they do fine.

The Bantams will be the older ones, and they will think they are the boss of the coop. I have Banties who chase off younger newly introduced standard chickens, even when they can barely reach to peck at their faces! Our original birds included 3 Banties, and they have always retained their status as we bring new birds into the coop.
