Adding new chicks

Hi! I have four silkie chicks about a month old. I was thinking of adding 2 EE and maybe even 2 polish chicks (not sure their ages, but guessing comperable). I want a mellow, low-key flock with beautiful birds but also fairly regular eggs. Do you guy think this would be a good combo? The ee's and polish are standard size, would that be a problem with the bantams?

it shouldn't be a problem, but if your silkies have full crests the others could possible hurt them due to extruded skulls. at a month old they should be pretty well closed up.

to be on the safe side I would keep them separate until you move them outside.
