Hello,
It's been a long while since I've posted anything. I currently have a couple of illegal Delaware hens who are now 15 months old. (Hopefully they will be legal early next year!) They sing a very loud egg song and one of them goes on and on like a parrot in the jungle. One of them is rather bossy, tried crowing a couple of times and occassionally pecks my feet. I've had them about a year now and none of the neighbors have complained (knock on wood) when they get loud.
I would like to get a couple more pullets. Mine have slowed down egg laying for moult and change of season and I would like to share some eggs with my brother's family. The place where I got my original two from has 4 month old Cinnamon Queens. They'll be quarantined and gradually introduced exactly like I have learned from this great forum with lots of very helpful/knowledgeable people.
Does a couple of Cinnamon Queens that will be 5 +/- months old sound like a good addition? Any reason why it would not or should not work?
Thanks!
TLM
