Had a message recently, someone’s moving and has to rehome 4 laying hens. They have a small coop. Not sure about details at this point. I have a new coop for my flock of 9, small run as they usually hang out in the yard. The coop can easily accommodate another 4 adult hens down the road but the run is small. No chance to extend before springtime. If those gals end up with me should I just keep 2 separate coops all winter?
