adding one new pullet to existing flock? how long does it take?

I tried introducing a new hen at night while the others were roosting. In a perfect world I would not have done that and would have had her in a separate area for awhile but for my small flock of six in a backyard I did not have the luxury of that. I did leave the coop door open for the first two nights so the new hen could make a quick escape if necessary in the morning before I got out there to let them into the run. The transition went OK I guess I. Terms of introducing new chickens. There was some squaking chasing but overall there was no fighting. It's a week later and some of my older girls still chase the new hen but 2 of my girls seem to be totally tolerant of her and let her eat near them and be near them. I'm hoping with time the same can be said for the rest of the flock.
