So after thinking we lost one of our Ameraucana babies yesterday, I had contacted the breeder I got her from to see if she had any hens she was willing to part with. Turns out she has some 4 month pullets from the same hatch.
This missing pullet was in the coop this morning (roosted on top of the coop for the night which is why we couldn't find her) so we still have her, plus her brother, and an Icelandic pullet the same age as them....they are all 4 months old.
If I just slip the new pullet in at night up on their roost, do you think that might work? These girls aren't aggressive at all to anyone, and the rooster is so far as sweet as can be with them.
We also have 5 barred rock hens (23 weeks old), two silkie pullets and a rooster (17 weeks and super docile).....the three little flocks all roost on separate boards in different areas.

Barred2rock isn't kidding, have a place set up before you get the newbie. Even the most docile flock can get weird in a heartbeat with a new arrival. Weird can range from terror to crazy aggression chickens really don't like different at all. It will eventually work out just be prepared beforehand it's way easier that way. :)

Personally I think you are asking for trouble introducing a single pullet like that. I would put the new bird in an enclosure of her own and add one of the lowest ranking of your flock. there will be some pecking order issues until they figure out who is top dog. Let them pall up for a few weeks and then introduce the two together into your existing flock. It would probably be best to use a look but can't touch (cage in their run) approach. The new pullet will integrate much better if she is already palled up.
One on one is a fair pecking order situation but 3 or more onto 1 is inviting a massacre. Flock mates are docile because they know their place in the pecking order, especially if they have been brought up together. Put a stranger in their and it could really shake things up.
