I have had poor experiences in adding a third hen to an established pair. In the past it has inevitably results in feather picking. Without keeping simple pairs though, I am short changing myself on the additional fertile eggs I could be receiving. I would like to get some tips on the best way to add in a third hen with as little fuss and drama as possible. Thank you!!

my friend is struggling with the same problem... he'll find a nice hen he likes, and try to throw her in with the pair only to be bullied... when i got my first rooster, i got him 11 hens... LOL... but now they're split, each rooster has 6 hens... the same rule works with other pets... my primary hobby are reef tanks... i know how hard it is to find several nice hens at once...
