Can kids do this too? I think it would be a great experience for my kids to adopt a soldier, to give them an opportunity to express their thanks for our freedoms. I will be signing up also! Thanks for a great post.

I love these organizations! I've volunteered with Soliders' Angels for a couple of years now (similar organization) and I highly recommend folks to do this. I know SA has a program for kids, I don't know if AdoptaSoldier.org does, but as long as folks are supporting our troops - that's what counts!
