Until a few years ago I had two house bunnies. A male/female bonded pair that I had spayed/neutered. They both died not far apart from eachother of old age. The were very spoiled and had run of their own bunny proof room since they were great with the litter box and never went anywhere except in it.
I had said I would never get another one but just happen to find out that animal control had a bunch that were left in the backyard of a house. So, I went to look.....one male came home with me
His name is Seymour and his a sweetheart. He's a big boy and probably very close to 10 lbs.
He goes to work with me on Monday to get neutered. While he's out, he's gonna get a hair trim b/c he's got tree sap in his fur. The brush snags on it.
I wasn't prepared for another bunny and went to pick up a cage a freind had. It's way too small for him but he'll get a homemade upgrade soon. I've gotta get a cheap area rug over the weekend b/c I have hardwood floors that are too slippery for him when I let him out. Thankfully my livingroom didn't need much bunny proofing...just a few cords to hide.
