I rescued this chick from work a week a go as mother was taken by a fox, my boss said they where chicken eggs the peacocks has set on as a chciken breeder this was clearly not the case however I am completely new to peafowl and I wondered if anybody could tell me anything that would be great both parents are Indian blue but the chicks yellow?

That looks like a black shouldered chick. Both India Blue parents must have been carrying recessive genes for black shoulder. Only difference is the wings are solid black and not black and tan striped. Too early to tell sex yet. I like to feed chick starter medicated with amprolium to help them fight off cocci. Put some vit/elec. powder in the water once a week and try to keep it off the ground until about 12 weeks old, their immune systems develop slower than chickens and they cannot fight off many ailments before that age. If you have chickens then you have cocci and probably other diseases are present that your birds are resistant to, this little guy/gal needs time to develop the same resistance. Much luck.
