Adopting a blind chicken

Welcome to Backyard Chickens Sara, how very kind of you to take her in. I had a blind dog and she did well but, again it's important to have food, water, bed(?) in the same place so it is easily found.

Sometimes if another animal in the household befriends the blind one, it will "adopt it," and guide it around.
