Our ducklings are 1.5 weeks old now. This is our first experience with ducks or any kind of farm animal. We wondered how our 7 year old Basset/Spaniel would do with the ducks.

From the moment she saw them she became their momma. It's the cutest thing you've seen! She frets over them and herds them to where she wants them to go. The other day she even gave each on of them a bath by licking them like puppies!

We now call her the Duck Dog!

Awww too cute! We have a dachshund that lets baby kitties "nurse" on her and she loves it...its so cute when animals go surrogate on us!

OMG! That's awesome! My dog (pom) does well, but the ducks won't let her get too close, even when they were babies! Good job!

that is so cute... I have a maltese that goes in the chicken a duck pens and helps me feed... he was raaised around the ducks since he was a pup... he has to check on everyone... my goose hates him though
