That's what's up with mine...I finally just put it on timed mode and roll with it. Opens at daylight and closes just after sunset.

Is it coon proof?

I would think so...it actually looks pretty sturdy. There does not look like there's anywhere that a critter could grab and pull on it. I doubt I'll ever find out because my run is a fortress so just getting into where the door is would be quite a feat in itself.

I have the Ador and it is a great door. The customer service is absolutely the best I’ve dealt with. I’ve had zero problems with the door but I have called with general questions regarding safety (auto reversing in case of obstruction), and things like that. Yes they are expensive but they are manufactured in the US and parts are readily available if needed.
