I have had a nine month old Serama for a month now, his name is "Malik" (pronounced "Ma-leek"). He has had a normal sounding crow but a few days ago he started developing a problem. The crow is very quiet and sounds off.....like a rooster that is just beginning to crow. Could a rooster develop some sort of sore throat? He is behaving normally...eating, drinking, following the others around when he is free ranging.
Before Malik went to roost this evening my husband heard him crowing and he noticed the change in his crow also. So, I know that it is not just my imagination.
I did a quick search of the Forum but didn't find this exact crowing problem posted. Anyone else ever experience this in a Rooster? Claudia
