Tonight I managed to put together the final pieces of my little incubator. With these final pieces the real adventure begins in the setting and incubation of eggs 
.
Here we have my Incukit installed. It was a royal pain for me. I wanted to have it in a plexi glass face but the stupid glass broke. So i tried wood, it was too deep. So i grabbed some of the wire mesh i cut off and then re-enforced it put holes for the mounting screws, and mounted it after securing the screen into the hole i had made the night before for the unit. I fed the wire for power in taped it down and then plugged it in and poof, on goes the heater and fan unit.
Next I made sure to put in my pans which will hold my water, and added spounges, my wire grate to put all my egg rotators on which will also serve as my hatching rack. Then thermometers. Lots of them! I put one on each corner of my hatching grate, and then there is one in the center front and back. If there is a hot spot or a cold spot I want to know about it.
Last picture is the egg rotating thing i made. I wanted it to mimic the auto rotators but I did not want to buy an auto rotator at this time. I got this idea from someone on here's DYI incubator and thought it would work nicely for me.
Mine is a doll rod and an egg carton glued together. It allows for a 45 degree rotation in the egg on each turn.
ANd now my fun begins tomorrow if everything goes well tonight and I will set all my eggs it is looking like 32 duck eggs tomorrow. See what this system will make of them all.
