Apparently some of the chickens went on a little adventure today...

Whoops šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

Don’t worry, they’re fine. We noticed and checked and they were all back already! Lol

The family group text cracked up too lol

I doubt they even left the property though. Our driveway is long so I bet they were still in the driveway or in the woods/grass near the end next to it or something and someone just saw them and worried maybe, idk.

They usually don’t wander that far though so I didn’t worry. I guess they do now šŸ˜‚šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø I think the rooster or the Brabanter girls led them there. They are adventurous. The older girls are angels lol and 9 happens to be the exact number of ā€œThe Punksā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆ

3 whole acres (well, 2 1/2 ish) and secluded/set back in the woods, an entire huge yard and woods to roam, gardens to trash, and they have to go down the driveway :lau šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

I guess now they will be only out for a few hours before bed with close supervision instead of all afternoon. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ they will be mad but  or maybe Punks will be grounded while the Good Kids get to be out. :lau

My adolescent birds will often end up trying to go to the neighbors. It's that rebellious teenager phase.
:lau it must be!! Actually, come to think of it, my Leghorn and Delaware went through quite a rebellious pullet phase too and would frequently go pretty deep in the woods! I always used to worry but they always came back and now they stick close like good girls LOL
