Mark heard Shira knocking on his door but went to the window and slipped out thinking that nobody would notice what he was doing. A person walking in the street saw him climb out the window and went to tell the tavern keeper.
"Did you know that you have a young man that is leaving and he didn't even come through the main room of your tavern?"

Winter walked through a forest path heading towards a town she had been to several times before.

Shira had keened hearing, but really didn't hear him escape. She walked down the stairs to the tavern and scanned around .

Mark looked back briefly but couldn't see anything through the driving snow. He started to let out a sigh of relief when he heard the sound of weapons being drawn from in front of him.
"Nobody is all out out of the town while there is a blizzard ahowling. So you had best be returning to the tavern young man." a guard said.
Mark sighed nobody could tell that he was different from them because he was always running around after dark and also in the early morning when there wasn't alot of light. He went back to the tavern dreading what he was going to find there.

Winter hugged herself trying to get warm with the thin jacket she was wearing. The blizard was raging all around her and she just wanted to find a nice tavern to stay in for the night and warm up. She shivered. Winter smiled softly as she neared the town, she could barely see it but it was there. She gripped the strap of her pack and picked up her pace battling the wind.

Mark sat quietly at the back of the common room eating his breakfast. He scowled when he saw the guards come in and ask for something hot to eat and drink but he took the opportunity to make his escape from the town because he knew that something even more dangerous than the hellerash was inside the town-himself. Nobody except for the one person who helped him up from the stable floor knew about his occupation.

Shira finally found Mark at the table, but didn't approach him. She walked up to the bar and ordered some juice.

Mark walked up to the bar, paid for his meal then left the tavern. He made sure that he had all of his stuff. He ran until he had to stop for his noonday meal. As he was eating someone came up behind him and tried to kill him. But he ahd placed a spell that would allow him to know if someone was coming. So he took that person out.
