Hi all, me and mrclean14 were interested in starting a poultry show in Valdosta ga. Any advice would be helpful. And any ideas would be great, anyone that would like to come is also helpful.

If you are talking about a swap, you may want to contact a local feed store that has plenty of parking for vendors and buyers, then have the store pass out flyer and advertise on places like Craigslist and http://www.usfreeads.com/zip/zip.asp?zip=31602. One important thing is to give plenty of advance notice of any upcoming swap to give potential buyers and sellers plenty of time to prepare such as hatching chicks which takes 3 weeks. If you have a local Tractor Supply Company, you can go to the store manager and inquire about having swaps there. We used to hold swaps at our farm but for the past 3 years have been having them at our local TSC. They have been so successful that other TSC's in the surrounding area are now holding them periodically. Most haven't been as successful as we have been but they are promoting their swaps very well either. Here are a few pictures of our swaps. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Florida-Farm-Swap-Meets-Georgia-too-now/174687569238815
