Enough Sun?

Hi all,
I live in a wooded area of the Pacific Northwest, USA. My chicken coop & run get virtually no direct sunlight — mostly dappled or filtered light with a canopy of trees above.
I am wondering if this will be an ongoing issue for egg production and chicken health? So far, pretty inconsistent egg production, so I’m trying to determine the reason!

Dappled sunlight shouldn't be an issue. How old are the birds and what breeds? Most birds don't lay daily and if they're older, the frequency of laying drops even more.
