Advice- BIL and their pittbull

Have you checked your ordinances? Most places have animal containment laws and leash laws. If they're in violation of those laws, AC must do something about it.

And I would definitely take pictures and video and show it to AC so they see how very dangerous this situation is.

Are they always around when they unleash the dog? Did it ever get off it's chain and run about?

Pitbull, no matter how raise can and do attack, problem with them is the fact that you cant stop the attack. Most dogs a good kick will stop an attack. Not with pits the breed will fight to the death. Thats the reason they are more danger than other breeds.

Any dog can attack, also pits lock their jaw and pull the flesh off. Most dog bite, but dont lock on like a pit.

If you can prove the dog is going after a child, sure you can have it taken away.


The pitbull breed does not attack more than other breeds,dont think its in the top ten. Bet they are the # 1 as far as breeds that kill people. Pits and chows both need removed and never bred again.

Only dog that ever bit me was a 10 week old chow chow.

Rather than post individual warnings which would be numerous. I am going to suggest everyone involved in this thread and CAREFULLY review the rules of this forum. If the topic resurfaces and goes south like this one there will be some well deserved time out for those who chose to name call, suggest illegal acts, and break half the forum rules.
