Advice for Button Quail Project

I used my other female and she will sit on it. Also, another hatched yesterday and I think one just pipped. I want to know how long it take for it to get out of the egg. I have to leave in an hour and I am gonna leave my sister in charge but I dont completely trust so I need to know if it will be out of the egg and dry in the next hour. Then again, I will probably know in the next hour because people usually take a day to reply.

It varies. I can take a very short time, or it can take up to 24 hours after pip to zip.

Hello, I recently fell in love with Button Quail. How much space do they need? Can they live outside in KY? How many eggs do they lay? How quickly do they mature and when do they die? Also need any advice you got about them. TIA
I have 2 pet buttons. They are in a 40-60 gallon tank and they seem pretty happy with that, probably not year round, usually 1 a day, pretty much 1/3 of what a chicken is, and keep optional calcium powder available (grind oyster shell in coffee grinder). If there are any questions just ask.
