Advice for transporting older ducks?

The man I got them from said they look kinda rough because they are molting and they look worse when they are laying heavily, does that happen? They look very white under all the mud. It's raining here today so I hope that will help them to clean themselves up a bit. I kept them separate last night, but this morning let them all graze the yard together. Seems everyone is happy and getting along well. No eggs, but I'm guessing they need to get through the move trauma and settle down first.

Are you sure those aren't khaki mixes? I see markings around the eye. My buff khaki mix has those...and she looks like a light colored khaki. Nothing wrong with a buff/khaki mix...and they should still be really good egg layers. My buff hen Lana (Uno's mom) was keeping up with my khaki and my runner.

Could be. He said they are laying an egg a day. He had LOTS of different breeds so I'm sure a mix is very possible. I'll be anxious to see them once they are cleaner and have played in the pool for a few days! Thanks for the pics wifezilla. Always nice to compare!

If they are crosses like Uno, they will be great ducks

Uno has personality to spare. It comes from the buff side. Friendly AND goofy
