My ducks and chickens semi live together, they share a run and the coop is sectioned off for them. They eat a feed that is for ducks and chickens and their pool is out of the way and not too deep for a chicken (the chickens hang out in it on hot days)
Mine haven't flown at all but they have jumped maybe 6-12 inches.
