one of my 3 month old chucks is a total reckling- runt for those who don't speak Lincolnshire
She eats and drinks fine, loves yoghurt and mealworm, but she can barely walk- a few steps and she does a face-plant bless her. she was never very good at walking anyway but as she's got bigger, she's got worse. I've put her in a run by herself because she was getting knocked about by the others and she seems happy enough but I wondered if anyone has any advice.
she's definitely become a pet now- she'd probably be in the house if I didn't have dogs! she likes to be stroked under her beak
she can't seem to manage to preen herself either because she's still very fluffy and I've had to get rid of bits of seed that the others have dropped on her.
i really hope I'm doing everything OK for her and if anyone has any other ideas I'd be seriously grateful, she's a total sweetheart!
