Need your opinion on my blue Orp.
She appears fine, healthy, eating, drinking, active, her color is good and pooping ok. The thing I have noticed she sounds raspy in the evenings. I dont notice really any noise at all early in the day but it is very evident at night. No other birds in the flock have any symptoms like this and she has been like this really ever since I had gotten her. She seems like the very nervous nellie type and I was wondering if it might be stress related? She stresses if her best buddy is not right beside her and has to run & find her, she also gets really stressed at bedtime. She stresses if her buddy is not right beside her on the perch, stresses about getting onto the perch, stresses where she is on the perch, stresses about when and if I will help her on the perch. By the time it is bedtime for her she is pretty raspy sounding. I dont see any type of respiratory distress, seems to be exchanging air ok just noisey? I have been trying to research but not coming up with a whole lot. It is not gapeworms or she would be gone by now and I dont think it is infectious because no one else has these same symptoms. I tried looking down her throat but I didnt see anything. Any idea what this could be? Has anyone experienced this before?
